Responsibilities
Team Introduction
The Global Business Solutions (GBS) team is responsible for the revenue growth of the TikTok business, and our teams include Sales, Marketing, Ops, Account Managers, Agency and partnerships, as well as Marketing Science. GBS is a dynamic, entrepreneurial, and ambitious client group, and our HRBPs who support them are too! We are excited to continue adding to our Human Resources team to attract, engage, and retain top talent to drive the continued growth of the organization.
Responsibilities
- Data Collection, Preparation, and Reporting: Assist in gathering, organizing, and cleaning data from various sources to ensure accuracy and reliability for analysis. Compile regular reports summarizing analytical findings and insights, presenting them in a clear and concise manner for stakeholders.
- Ad-Hoc Analysis: Conduct ad-hoc analyses as requested by team members or stakeholders, utilizing statistical methods to derive meaningful insights from data.
- Data Visualization: Create and maintain data visualizations and dashboards to effectively communicate findings and track key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Cross-Market Learnings: Support the analysis of cross-market data to identify trends, best practices, and opportunities for improvement in various business areas.
- Collaboration: Work closely with team members from various departments to understand their data needs and provide analytical support to inform decisions.
- Documentation: Document methodologies, data sources, and findings to ensure transparency and reproducibility of analyses.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, Economics, or a related field.
- Technical Skills:Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, or Python; experience with data visualization software like Tableau or Power BI is a plus. Understanding of data interpretation techniques.
- Analytical Skills: Strong quantitative and analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex datasets and draw actionable insights. Experience in conducting ad-hoc analyses and ability to synthesize findings into clear, concise reports.
- Communication Skills: Good verbal and written communication skills to effectively present findings and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Problem-Solving Ability: Proactive in identifying data needs, challenges, and proposing solutions that support business objectives.
- Team Player: Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment, showing flexibility and willingness to assist others.
Preferred Qualifications
- Available to work 3 days/week for a minimum of 3 months.
- A passion for data-driven decision-making and a desire to contribute to a dynamic team environment.
